About The Position

Savaria is a global leader in accessibility and patient care products. At Garaventa Lift, a division of Savaria, we are an industry-leading residential and commercial lift/elevator company dedicated to providing a high standard of accessibility solutions. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our team. The Sales Administrative coordinator would be responsible for coordinating all daily sales operations with the United States sales team, reporting directly to our General Manager of the United States. This role is part of our US Sales Organization, responsible for assisting in acquiring market intelligence and supporting the sales team with administrative tasks. Our business serves both B2B (builders) and B2C (homeowners) markets. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the construction industry and prior administrative experience, strong communication skills, the ability to professionally interact with architects, engineers, builders, and customers, and be adept at relationship building and understanding the sales environment. We are looking for a quick learner with strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor.

Requirements

  • A Minimum of a H.S. Diploma or equivalent with administrative experience is required.
  • Very competent IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and other MS products.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.
  • Good communication skills and ability to use email effectively in a professional manner.
  • The ability to handle multiple competing priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • An Associate’s Degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school is preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training.
  • Experience in construction trade or technical sales is a plus.
  • Some marketing flair is a plus & comfortable in networking environment/activities.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the sales and general manager to help with daily sales activity.
  • Set up search engines in each branch and monitor for sales quoting opportunities.
  • Distribute all leads and keep records of any opportunities.
  • Create reporting regarding quoting volume to sales and track individual hit success.
  • Call customers after quoting/bidding by salesman to acquire market intelligence regarding any wins/losses.
  • Create reporting to track market intelligence obtained during that activity.
  • Call Architects and schedule AIA (American Institute of Architects) Meetings for the sales team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to be in the office 8AM-4PM in Manchester NH.
