The RBDC’s Sales Activator primary role is to increase winning versus competition in Large Format accounts. This role involves driving collaborative relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders, ensuring an in-store presence in line with Perfect Store standards, increasing permanent product disruption points at ambient and cold locations in store above competition, and maintaining and increasing product range in all stores. The position also requires coverage of a defined territory, effective coverage of all agreed outlets at optimum frequencies in a cost-effective manner, and proficiency in retailer ways of working to expand in-store presence. Retailer satisfaction responses should highlight sales effectiveness, including category education, current state of business for the account, and quality of sales calls. The role also drives execution of promotional opportunities, reports non-compliance, pre-sells promotional activity with a 30-60-90 day outlook, and ensures effective communication amongst the RBDC distribution team for best-in-class account service. The Sales Activator leads all market activations to in-store activations for all accounts.
