The RBDC’s Pre-Call Sales Activator primary role is to increase winning versus competition in Large Format accounts. This role drives collaborative relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders, ensures in-store presence aligns with Perfect Store standards, and increases permanent product disruption points at ambient and cold locations in store above competition. It also involves maintaining and increasing product range in all stores. The position requires coverage of a defined territory, completing all allocated calls, and effective coverage of all agreed outlets at optimum frequencies in a cost-effective manner. Proficiency in retailer ways of working (terminology) is essential for increasing opportunities to expand in-store presence. Retail satisfaction responses should highlight sales effectiveness, including category education, current state of business for the account, and quality of sales calls. Additionally, the role involves driving the execution of agreed and over and above national and local promotion opportunities, reporting non-compliance in a timely manner, and pre-selling all promotional activity to accounts with a 30-60-90 day outlook. The Sales Activator is responsible for driving effective communication amongst the RBDC distribution team to ensure best-in-class account service and leading all market activations to in-store activations for all accounts.
