About The Position

Deutsch Family Wine and Spirits is seeking a Sales Activation Associate (SAA). In this role you will ensure our products are selling through to the consumer through elite-level activation in trade. This role is based in Central New Jersey.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Computer literate and functional in Microsoft Office.
• Objective oriented: focused, and assertive individual who needs little direction or supervision.
• Able to work in an intense, fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills: to develop key customer and staff relationships.
• Strong communication skills: ability to make compelling presentations.
• A valid driver's license and ability to travel within an assigned territory is required.
• Live in or near New Brunswick, New Jersey.
• Required to obtain a solicitor’s permit where necessary.

Nice To Haves

• College degree preferred but not required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers by actively listening and responding to their needs.
• Conduct tastings and product demonstrations at customer locations to drive product awareness and engagement.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand account base and increase product distribution.
• Build visibility and trial to boost brand affinity and sales in the market.
• Deliver excellence in the activation and execution of brand standards in the on and off premise channels, to drive rate-of-sale on our brands in all assigned accounts.
• Proactive ambassador who owns the activation, execution and achievement of all market goals.
• Knowledgeable about market trends and competitive activities.
