Sales Account Manager
About The Position
Genesys Industries, a manufacturer of custom precision parts for various industries, is seeking an inside sales professional to develop business opportunities with prospects, leads, and existing customers. The role focuses on building long-term client relationships, managing and interpreting customer requirements, and serving as the customer’s single point of contact. The position also supports estimates and requires coordinating multiple quote requests and specifications while maintaining strong organization and communication in a fast-paced environment. The position is full-time, with base pay plus commissions, and does not require travel.
Requirements
- Preferably at least 5 years of related B2B inside sales experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or verifiable work experience.
- Project management skills and the ability to track and manage multiple prospects and quotes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industry and environment.
- Some experience using a CRM system or cloud-based systems.
- Willingness to make phone calls to customers and prospects.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
Responsibilities
- Contact prospects, leads, and existing customers to identify opportunities to quote part requirements, including short- and long-production jobs.
- Build relationships with B2B buyers to quote and close customer opportunities.
- Follow up on leads and advance or close sales opportunities.
- Track leads and opportunities in the CRM system.
- Find new customers through cold calls and website visits.
- Verify the accuracy of quote packages and finalize them.
- Present quote information to Senior Management before submission to customers.
- Maintain assigned customer accounts through follow-up calls to buyers.
- Follow up on quotes and obtain purchase orders from buyers for quoted items.
- Obtain target prices to support price matching.
- Assist in completing estimates by required dates and manage multiple quote requests and specifications.
