About The Position

Madison Core Laboratories (MCL) is seeking a professional, energetic, and driven individual to promote sales in private practices for a rapidly expanding reference lab in Huntsville, Alabama. MCL is a state-of-the-art, full-service independent clinical laboratory. We are passionate about what we do and are dedicated to providing excellent service that will make positive changes in the lives of those we serve. Our facility is located in Huntsville, Alabama and has been named the Number 1 Best Place to Live by U.S. News & World Report for 2022-2023. This position requires an individual who is highly motivated and willing to learn. Traveling required, 80% of the time.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in outside sales, account management, business development, or a related customer-facing sales role.
  • Demonstrated success in growing and retaining existing customer accounts.
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting and acquiring new customers through cold calling, networking, and field sales.
  • Experience managing a sales territory and meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using a CRM system (such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or ODOO) to manage leads, opportunities, and customer accounts.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within an assigned territory.
  • Background check and drug test required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience or exposure to medical sales.
  • Prior knowledge of Diagnostic Testing in the private practice space.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant sales experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities
