About The Position

Corvian is a global leader in agriculture technology! As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring, growing, and retaining a portfolio of ag retail, independent agronomy, and grower direct accounts across a defined region. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and guiding customers through a consultative sales process that creates long-term value. This role requires regular travel within the territory and occasional overnight travel.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales and account management experience, with strong preference for direct-to-grower and retail experience.
  • Strong agronomy foundation and the ability to translate technical concepts into practical recommendations and commercial value.
  • Knowledge of farming practices, laboratory operations, precision agronomy, fertility management, and soil sciences.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage retailer leadership, branch managers, and sales agronomists.
  • The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of, and maintain an acceptable driving record, consistent with our Vehicle Use Policies, to be eligible for employment with Corvian.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling, supporting, or using digital agronomy, precision ag tools, or soil testing and lab programs is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute regional sales plans with clear targets, priorities, and tactics to drive growth.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new opportunities across ag retail, independent agronomy, and grower direct accounts.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts with a focus on long-term relationships, renewals, expansion, and customer value.
  • Lead customers through discovery, solution positioning, demos, proposals, negotiation, and close.
  • Work closely with agronomy, labs, implementation, and customer success teams to support successful onboarding and ongoing account success.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and activity tracking while sharing customer, competitive, and market insights with leadership.
