About The Position

As a Sales Account Manager, Care, you will play a vital role in cultivating productive and mutually beneficial relationships with customers in a specific territory across the care market. Your efforts will directly contribute to our company’s success by helping the company to meet its financial goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and 5+ years of experience in bench formulation, commercial experience in specialty chemical industry and sales
  • Demonstrated expertise in the personal care industry
  • Strong understanding of cosmetic formulation and raw materials
  • Excellent selling and persuasion skills
  • A proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Develop long-term, productive relationships with current customers by understanding their business needs and seeking to address their challenges.
  • Ensure that the customer views the Company as a trusted partner and problem-solver enabling business retention and growth.
  • Leverage market knowledge to seek opportunities for new business development.
  • Identify unmet needs, prioritize opportunities and partner within the organization to support growth opportunities.
  • Establish (and follow) a rigorous process for following up on new leads, pursuing new lines of inquiry, etc.
  • Understand personal care market trends and competitive environment in our market segments.
  • Provide market and customer feedback to all internal stakeholders.
