About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. As a Core Sales Representative for its Personal Safety Division (PSD) located in northern Ontario, primarily Sudbury to Sault Ste. Marie to Timmins, and surrounding area, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Driving sales growth within territory with new and existing end-user customers Conducting training presentations to customers and channel partners, educating industrial professionals, and promoting 3M solutions Collaborating with Marketing and Technical teams to assist with market research, new product launches, and promotional projects Personal development- product and regulatory knowledge through self-study and corporate training programs

Requirements

  • High School Diploma with ten (10) years sales and/or marketing experience sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment OR Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution with Three (3) years of sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Current, valid Driver’s License
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Health and Safety, Sales from an accredited institution
  • Five (5) years of Sales in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Presentation skills, written and verbal communication, business planning, sales
