About The Position

Pitney Bowes is seeking a high-energy, growth-driven Sales Account Executive to join their SendTech Solutions team. This role focuses on building new business and helping clients optimize their shipping and logistics through technology. The position requires owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and involves understanding client operations to recommend the right solutions. The Sales Account Executive will partner cross-functionally, travel locally for client engagement, and utilize modern sales technology. The role also requires staying current on industry trends in shipping, logistics, and eCommerce.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience with a strong record of prospecting and closing.
  • Experience selling SaaS or technology solutions (shipping/logistics/mailing preferred).
  • Confidence running virtual demos and discovery sessions.
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales enablement tools to manage pipeline and activity.
  • A self‑starter mindset with a proven ability to exceed goals.
  • Must reside in the Los Angeles, CA or San Francisco Bay, CA areas.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle — prospect, pitch, demo, negotiate, and close.
  • Hunt for new growth — drive expansion, competitive takeaways, and new business wins.
  • Sell consultatively by understanding client operations and recommending the right shipping and logistics solutions.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Client Success, Product, and Sales Engineering to deliver seamless client experiences.
  • Engage clients face‑to‑face through local travel, events, and onsite meetings.
  • Leverage modern sales tech — CRM, prospecting tools, and pipeline management.
  • Stay current on industry trends in shipping, logistics, and eCommerce.
