About The Position

Lead end-to-end Sage Intacct implementation projects, from discovery through go-live and post-implementation support. Partner with clients, cross-functional onshore and offshore teams, and external vendors to design and deliver Sage Intacct and integrated solutions that meet business requirements and can evolve with clients’ needs. The role combines technical implementation expertise, client-facing advisory work, financial operations strategy, and team mentorship.

The consultant analyzes business processes and data, recommends improvements, supports historical data cleansing and migration, and develops integrations between Sage Intacct and other client systems. The role also provides guidance on financial reporting, compliance, system optimization, and implementation strategy, including requirements definition, solution design, prototyping, testing, training, support procedures, and implementation of practical business solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 2 years of Sage Intacct implementation experience.
• Sage Intacct Implementation Certification, or ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
• Advanced knowledge of Systems Delivery Life Cycle and Software Development Lifecycle.
• Demonstrated record of successful systems and process improvements and continuous, on-time execution toward deliverables or milestones.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced proficiency in common Sage Intacct modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Purchasing, Accounts Receivable/Order Entry, Cash Management, Financial Reporting, and Budgeting.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct add-on modules and capabilities, including smart rules, fixed assets, consolidations, dynamic allocations, SIP, inventory, revenue management, project costing and billing, inter-entity transaction setup, prepaid expense amortization, and printed document template customization.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex Sage Intacct implementation projects from discovery through go-live and post-implementation support.
• Serve as the primary client liaison and trusted advisor throughout engagements.
• Design and architect solutions that align with client business requirements and industry best practices.
• Conduct business process analysis and recommend process improvements.
• Provide strategic guidance on financial reporting, compliance, and system optimization.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and consultants.
• Lead clients in analyzing data and provide recommendations for system design and integration.
• Support cleansing and migration of clients’ historical data.
• Develop integrations to and from Sage Intacct with other client systems.
• Develop systems strategy and support requirements definition, design, prototyping, testing, training, support procedures, and implementation of business solutions using Sage Intacct.
