About The Position

HazTek is hiring an experienced Safety Specialist in Dallas, Texas, to support commercial construction projects. The role oversees project safety and OSHA compliance, promotes a culture of safety, and helps ensure workers return home safely. It requires a Monday–Saturday schedule. This is a local-only opportunity; travel, per diem, and relocation are not offered. HazTek Safety Management is a full-service safety partner founded in 1997. Requirements

At least 5 years of direct construction safety experience.
OSHA 30 certification.
First Aid/CPR certification.
Active OSHA 500 and/or BCSP certification.
Bachelor’s degree in an environmental or safety-related field.
Ability to work and commit to a Monday–Saturday schedule.
Strong knowledge of construction safety standards.
Excellent verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects to ensure OSHA compliance.
Conduct daily safety meetings.
Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations.
Ensure all personnel wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
Conduct daily safety audits and inspections.
Inspect power tools and heavy equipment.
