At Adams and Associates, Inc., the Woodland Job Corps Center is seeking a Safety & Security Advisor who can help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment for students working toward their futures. This is more than a security position—it’s a hands-on opportunity to protect, guide, and positively influence young adults every day through strong safety practices, accountability, and leadership. The Safety & Security Advisor supports a secure residential campus environment by supervising student activity, responding to incidents, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring compliance with all center policies and regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must possess a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements
• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching
• Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and /or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degrees preferred
• Prefer Job Corps or related program experience

Responsibilities

• Support safety and security operations across the center
• Conduct routine security tours and monitor student activity
• Enforce safety, security, and occupational health standards
• Respond to emergencies and assist with incident investigations
• Complete accurate and timely incident and accident reports
• Recommend corrective actions based on findings
• Supervise and support student behavior and accountability
• Assist with dorm inspections and contraband searches as needed
• Maintain visitor control and facility security procedures
• Collaborate with staff across departments to support student services
• Communicate clearly through written and verbal reports
