About The Position

Performs administrative tasks, trains team members and oversees overall training activities for custodial associates. Acts as a resource for others due to knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and heavy commercial cleaning equipment.

Requirements

  • Lifts and transports up to 60 lbs.
  • Frequently reaches, lifts, stoops, bends and cleans to maintain work area
  • Possible job hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains
  • Walks and stands before and after events (corrects any sanitation issues i.e. hand soap/chemical replacement
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Good communicator

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and coordinates the activities of the department including training, coaching and service standards
  • Establish rapport with guests, team members, and partners
  • Delivers on the expected guest experience
  • Leads by example; delivers on promises
  • Recognizes the need to effectively manage change
  • Has drive to understand importance of business and operational efficiency
  • Organized with the ability to learn to prioritize based on business
  • Adheres to location appearance guidelines
  • Acts with a sense of urgency and provide friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests
  • Ensures that team members are following proper procedures as it relates to dishwashing, ware washing, daily cleaning tasks, as well as monthly and quarterly cleaning schedules
  • Practices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
  • Adheres to Levy Restaurants Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook
  • Maintains and completes all cleaning checklists and logs
  • Uses cleaning chemicals according to prescribed methods
  • Ensure adherence to local Health Department rules and regulations
  • Thoroughly completes all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities
  • Maintains Cleanliness of kitchens, storage areas, and concession stands
  • Displays a positive attitude toward teammates and managers
  • Always on time and ready to perform all required duties
  • Helps fellow team members whenever necessary
  • Schedules and supervises all Dishwashers
  • Reports to and assists acting Chef with daily assignments and kitchen duties
  • Dishwashers and stewards report directly to the Sanitation Supervisor as to daily tasks and end of shift duties being sufficiently completed. If the Sanitation Supervisor is not onsite they report to the Chefs
