The Safety Representative will provide field-focused safety support for an electrical contractor working on construction of the Micron semiconductor manufacturing facility in Boise, Idaho. The representative will support approximately 30 craft workers, emphasizing field observations, worker engagement, hazard identification, relationship building, and reinforcement of safe work practices. Administrative reporting is handled by onsite safety managers, so this role is not paperwork-heavy and is primarily based in active work areas. The position is suited to an early-career safety professional seeking experience on a major industrial construction project. Success involves maintaining a visible field presence, communicating effectively with workers, identifying hazards before incidents occur, and helping promote a positive safety culture while supporting project productivity and team engagement. The role is a 1099 contract assignment of at least four months, starting November 16, 2026. Pay is $43 per hour, with a $150 daily per diem paid seven days per week and weekly pay. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., with 50–60 hours per week (typically a 60-, 60-, 50-hour rotation).
