About The Position
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital Nursing Resource Pool is hiring a Flexi, night-shift Safety Partner in Norfolk, Virginia. The Safety Partner helps maintain a safe environment for patients and the hospital. The role primarily involves sitting with patients who are at risk of suicide, falls, wandering, self-harm, or other risk behaviors, helping them maintain function during their hospital stay. The position is scheduled for night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is a 525-bed tertiary care facility and teaching hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. It includes Hampton Roads’ only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit, and offers services across numerous specialties. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior healthcare experience or enrollment in a Health Sciences Program is strongly preferred.
