We have an immediate need for an experienced Safety Manager to support a commercial construction project focused on drywall, framing, and carpentry operations in New Albany, OH. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a key leadership role on an active jobsite.
Requirements
- OSHA 510 certification (required)
- 5+ years of construction safety experience (required)
- Experience working around drywall, framing, or carpentry operations
- Strong communication and field presence
- Ability to work independently and support project leadership
Responsibilities
- Lead daily construction safety oversight for drywall, framing, and carpentry activities
- Conduct site inspections and identify hazards before work begins
- Monitor subcontractor safety compliance and safe work practices
- Facilitate toolbox talks and reinforce project safety expectations
- Support incident reporting, investigation, and corrective actions
- Verify proper use of PPE and fall protection where applicable
- Maintain safety documentation and communicate findings to project leadership
