About The Position

Join a contractor supporting mission-critical data center construction in New Albany, OH. This opportunity provides hands-on safety oversight for specialty technology infrastructure systems including structured cabling, audio visual systems, electronic physical security systems, wireless infrastructure, and DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems). The Field Construction Safety Manager will maintain a strong field presence while working directly with craft personnel, subcontractors, supervision, and project leadership to identify hazards, maintain compliance, and support the safe execution of low-voltage installation activities, cable routing operations, equipment installation, overhead work, and technology infrastructure deployment.

Requirements

  • BCSP Certification Required (CHST, ASP, CSP, or equivalent)
  • OSHA 30 Construction Certification
  • Minimum 3+ years of construction safety experience
  • Experience with Data Center Construction
  • Candidates should have working knowledge of: OSHA Construction Standards, Mission Critical Data Center Construction, Structured Cabling Installation Activities, Low Voltage Construction Safety, Audio Visual and Security System Installations, Wireless and DAS Infrastructure Deployment, Fall Protection & Elevated Work, Aerial Lifts & MEWPs, Material Handling Operations, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Incident Investigation & Corrective Actions, Contractor Safety Management, Construction Risk Assessment & Mitigation

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily field safety oversight for mission-critical technology infrastructure installation activities
  • Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas
  • Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments
  • Monitor structured cabling, overhead installations, equipment mounting, and material handling operations
  • Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements
  • Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions
  • Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel
  • Coordinate safety activities with project management, supervision, and subcontractors
  • Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation
  • Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports
  • Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project

Benefits

  • Per Diem: $125/Day (7 Days Per Week)
  • Completion Bonus: $150/month
