About The Position
HazTek is seeking an experienced Safety Professional in Doylestown, PA to support multiple projects at a pharmaceutical facility in West Point, PA. This individual will provide field safety oversight for multiple subcontractors and concurrent construction activities.
Requirements
- OSHA 30 required
- Strong construction safety experience
- Experience overseeing multiple subcontractors and concurrent activities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to confidently address unsafe behaviors and enforce site requirements
Nice To Haves
- Pharmaceutical experience preferred
- Local candidates strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day safety oversight of subcontractors and construction activities
- Conduct routine site inspections and identify unsafe conditions and behaviors
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, client, and site-specific safety requirements
- Review JHAs, pre-task plans, and other safety documentation
- Monitor multiple subcontractors and work activities simultaneously
- Address unsafe behaviors and ensure subcontractors follow proper safety guidelines
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and project coordination meetings
- Maintain a strong field presence and communicate effectively with project teams
