About The Position

RLE INTERNATIONAL is seeking a Safety Investigations Analyst to join their Safety Office. This role will assist with data trend analysis and vehicle safety investigations. The analyst will review Technical Service Bulletins (TSB), Special Service Messages (SSM), and Over the Air (OTA) update documentation, and facilitate reviews and process development. The primary objective is to monitor and analyze daily reports from customers and dealers to identify potential safety concerns, prepare technical and non-technical documentation, and support the Automotive Safety Office (ASO) in responding to government inquiries with data and technical analysis. The role involves interfacing with Global Data Insight & Analytics (GDI&A) for failure rate projections and investigation support, as well as facilitating reviews and development of processes, procedures, and training.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Assist with data trend analysis and vehicle safety investigations.
  • Review Technical Service Bulletins (TSB), Special Service Messages (SSM), and Over the Air (OTA) update documentation.
  • Facilitate reviews and process development.
  • Monitor and analyze daily reports from customers and dealers to identify potential safety concerns.
  • Prepare technical and non-technical documentation.
  • Support ASO in responding to government inquiries with data and technical analysis.
  • Interface with Global Data Insight & Analytics (GDI&A) for failure rate projections and investigation support.
  • Facilitate reviews and development and documentation of processes, procedures and training.
  • Daily monitoring of incoming reports, data analysis, and documentation preparation for regulatory submission.
  • Work with the Global Recall Implementation Database (GRID) and interface with Product Development, Quality, Customer Service, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Provide reports and metrics on safety data trends and ASO key priority indicators.
  • Document investigation findings, regulatory submissions, and maintain records in compliance with retention guidelines.
  • Document local procedure, training, and development materials.
