In this role, you will support Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives through project work, data analysis, workplace assessments, training support, and continuous improvement activities. We’re looking for someone with strong communication and analytical skills, attention to detail, and a desire to collaborate with others to identify hazards, reduce risk, and strengthen our EHS culture.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize information, identify trends, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and interact professionally with team members at all levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn EHS systems, analyze data, and clearly present findings and recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with EHS inspections, audits, risk assessments, workplace observations, and compliance assurance activities.
  • Support incident and near-miss investigations by gathering information, documenting findings, identifying contributing factors, and tracking corrective actions.
  • Analyze EHS data and help develop reports, EHS Scorecard metrics, dashboards, and presentations that support informed decision-making.
  • Assist with environmental compliance activities, which may include waste management, recycling, stormwater, air emissions, and pollution-prevention initiatives.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects using Plan-Do-Check-Act principles to reduce risk, improve compliance, and strengthen EHS processes.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Human Resources, Occupational Health, and other cross-functional partners to address EHS opportunities and implement practical solutions.
