About The Position

Act as an OHS expert to provide customers with training in health and safety to have a significant impact on the success of health and safety systems.

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate in occupational health and safety
• Experience in working at heights, in confined spaces, in lockout/tagout and in developing health and safety procedures
• Must legally be permitted to work in Canada, without any additional sponsorship support from SPI Heath and Safety

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a health and safety trainer

Responsibilities

• Develop and update expertise
• Provide health and safety training to customers, either at the SPI training center or on the customer’s premises
• Contribute to the development and improvement of training programs
• Contribute to the development and improvement of health and safety practices, assessments and documents
• Maintain a high standard of quality and expertise
• Travel by car or plane to customer sites in the region or out of town
