About The Position

Primary responsibilities will center on ensuring compliance with Local, State and Federal EHS regulations. Ensure that OSHA, EPA and TCEQ guidelines are met and all documentation is prepared and stored for the required timeframe. Provide ongoing support, leadership and guidance and direct effort to achieve and maintain Star status under OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Program. Develop, implement and maintain Safety & Health Policies, Plans and Procedures. Conduct new employee safety orientation training. Periodic/Annual training courses regarding specific safety issues relevant to the work environment. Provide ongoing support to facility personnel and leadership in the identification of workplace hazards, reporting and investigation of incidents. Works with department supervision to conduct incident investigations in a thorough and timely manner to determine root cause and prevention. Conducts frequent plant safety inspections and observes workers for safe and unsafe behaviors. Develop, maintain and report on key safety performance indicators. Scheduling and coordinating required monitoring and sampling pursuant to Facility Industrial Hygiene/Environmental factors. (air quality, noise, etc.) Managing local and state permitting, sampling requirements and waste manifests. This includes experience with SDCP, Title V and IWW Permitting) The above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive; Travel regionally as needed. Abide by all policies and procedures established by the Company; and Meet attendance requirements.
