About The Position

Kodiak Robotics, Inc. is seeking experienced commercial drivers to join their Lancaster operations as Assisted Autonomy Drivers. These drivers will play a crucial role in deploying the company's autonomous technology by remotely controlling self-driving trucks in specific low-speed situations, such as tight yards or complex drop-off areas. This role blends remote support with onboard autonomy, requiring drivers to operate a remote assistance station with intuitive controls, including a steering wheel, pedals, and brakes, to guide the Kodiak Driver. The position is at the forefront of revolutionizing transportation and working with partners to improve and integrate cutting-edge technology in real-world conditions.

Requirements

Class A CDL License with clean driving record
A minimum of 3+ years of verifiable and recent Class A experience
Ability to pass a background check and practical road test
Pass drug test, MVR and have a current DOT physical
Comfortable working with computers
Willing to be flexible with growing responsibilities over time

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Safety Minded
Willing and able to work flexible shifts & schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
Requires frequent sitting and driving

Responsibilities

Remotely control a self-driving truck in certain low-speed situations.
Operate a remote assistance station with intuitive controls including a steering wheel, pedals and brakes.
Provide guidance to the Kodiak Driver.
Understand and execute complex testing requirements under test specialist coordination.
Work with an experienced and agile team to revolutionize transportation.

$34/hr base pay with a 4 day on / 3 day off schedule
