About The Position

Rycon Construction is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator for its Fort Lauderdale office. The role works closely with office leadership to further develop the company’s safety culture and supports safety planning, compliance, training, and oversight across construction projects. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections and audits, delivering in-person and virtual training and orientations, coordinating safety pre-planning and lookaheads with Operations and Estimating teams, participating in project meetings, ensuring subcontractor compliance with OSHA regulations and training requirements, authoring project-specific safety plans, and developing and implementing training programs. The preferred candidate has a college degree in a safety-related discipline and at least two years of construction safety experience. Overnight travel may be needed. Bilingual ability is preferred but not required. Requirements

At least two years of experience in construction safety.
Ability to travel overnight as needed.
