About The Position

We’re seeking a Safety & Security Representative who is compassionate, observant, and ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of youth and adults in a behavioral health setting. In this role, you’ll help maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment by supervising patient activity and supporting direct care staff. You’ll engage individuals using trauma-informed, person-centered approaches while modeling positive behaviors and strong problem-solving skills. You may also step into a lead capacity when leadership is unavailable, depending on staffing needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• At least 1 year of related experience or training
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Supervise unit activity and patient movement
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized unit
• Support and engage youth and adults in daily activities
• Assist with crisis intervention and emergency response
• Follow and support individualized treatment plans
• Complete accurate and timely documentation and reports
• Transport patients to appointments as needed
• Assist with meals, laundry, and other daily needs
• Attend trainings, meetings, and ongoing education
