About The Position

The Safety And Risk Associate serves as a first point of contact and information resource for guests at The Clevelander on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach. The role combines venue safety with hospitality by welcoming guests, checking identification, managing entry flow, and setting a positive tone. The associate should know the venue’s menus and offerings, answer guest questions, and help guests understand what makes The Clevelander special. They handle situations tactfully, communicate effectively, and maintain a fun, welcoming demeanor while protecting guests, team members, and the venue.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
At least 1 year of hospitality/nightlife or security/operations experience is required.
Professional and outgoing, with a strong hospitality mindset and genuine passion for service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to discuss menus and offerings and confidently answer guest questions.
Able to remain calm under pressure while maintaining a welcoming, fun demeanor.
Detail-oriented, with sound judgment and quick decision-making.

Nice To Haves

Security or hospitality experience preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
