The Safety & Health Specialist (Analyst) designs, develops, implements, and supports technology solutions for Georgia Power’s Corporate Health and Safety organization. Working at the intersection of technology, data, and safety operations, this role partners with safety professionals, business owners, end users, and technology teams to translate operational and regulatory requirements into reliable databases, automated workflows, applications, dashboards, reports, and mobile solutions. The analyst independently develops and supports production solutions using SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and advanced Excel; administers safety and health data used for driver and vehicle monitoring, training, compliance, incident prevention, and performance management; and helps ensure solutions meet company requirements for cybersecurity, privacy, records retention, accessibility, data quality, and auditability. The analyst also evaluates and responsibly applies approved AI tools to automate routine work, strengthen analysis and reporting, improve business efficiency, and support informed decision-making while maintaining appropriate security, accuracy, and human oversight. The analyst must be adaptable, able to learn Georgia Power’s safety and health processes, and prepared to support additional technology initiatives, projects, assignments, and cross-functional work groups as business needs evolve.
