About The Position
SMG is a nationally recognized professional service organization that provides workplace safety consulting, training, staffing, program planning, and implementation. SMG seeks a local Safety Advisor - Owner's Rep in the Lebanon, IN area. The key function of a Safety Advisor is to put safety at the forefront of their job, prioritize the client’s needs, work well in a team setting, be self-managed, and be flexible when it comes to change.
Requirements
- 10+ years of safety experience
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Course
- Experience representing owners on a project
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Nice To Haves
- A degree in Safety or related fields is preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide project safety support on behalf of the Owner and the Owner's representative
- Coach and influence the safe execution of procedures and work plans
- Support the project with safety management services to support a safe work environment
- Serve as a safety resource to Client and Contractor stakeholders
