About The Position

The SafeCare® Colorado Supervisor plays a vital leadership role in strengthening families and promoting child safety across Colorado. This position provides supportive oversight to Parent Support Providers (PSPs), ensuring the high-quality delivery of an evidence-based, home-based intervention for at-risk families. The Supervisor fosters a positive and collaborative work environment, offering guidance, coaching, and ongoing support to staff while ensuring adherence to program standards, policies, and state regulations. In partnership with community agencies and internal teams, the Supervisor helps build strong referral networks, supports outreach and reporting efforts, and contributes directly to service delivery. This role is ideal for a leader who values mentorship, collaboration, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required and four or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Child welfare or early childhood knowledge and experience.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license and carry personal auto liability insurance at the level of $100,000/300,000/100,000.
• Familiarity with or ability to follow practice standards, including applicable local, state and federal regulations and guidance, and contractual requirements.
• Experience with crisis management, problem solving, and mediation best practices.
• Maintains consistency of program documentation and ensures that documentation and reporting is completed in a thorough, high quality, and timely manner.

• SafeCare® Colorado certification or ability to get certification through training.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a positive and supportive work environment and provides continuing support to PSPs.
• Meets with SafeCare® Colorado staff on a weekly basis.
• Responsible for oversight of PSP work methods and processes and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Attends Implementation team meetings and other ongoing meetings as necessary.
• Compiles statistics for grants and other funding sources.
• Participates and leads when appropriate, the LFS team meetings regarding assigned or prospective cases.
• Provides direct service based on the size and needs of the program, building relationships with the families in the program.
• Participates in outreach efforts (giving presentations, attending conferences, handing out fliers) to community agencies using marketing material provided by the Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC).
• Logs outreach efforts and maintains regular contact with agencies while simultaneously expanding efforts to increase outreach.
• Completes training on protocols, data collections and assessments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
