About The Position

Wilkins Recreational Vehicles is hiring a mid-level RV Service Technician in Bath, New York. The technician performs repair and maintenance on customer and company products according to assigned schedules and factory and dealership standards. The role requires maintaining technical competence, attending available factory-sponsored and other service training, and pursuing the highest achievable certification. The technician also maintains professional relationships with customers, dealership personnel, and vendor representatives and keeps tools and equipment in good condition while following safety procedures.

Requirements

Experience or a combination of experience in automotive repair, HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, electrical work, carpentry, or general maintenance.
Ability to furnish own hand and shop tools.
Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

General maintenance experience as a “Jack of all Trades” is a plus.
New York State inspection license is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform assigned work with speed and quality in accordance with factory and dealership standards.
Repair and maintain customers’ and company’s products according to schedules assigned by the Service Manager or Service Advisors.
Maintain technical competence, attend available factory-sponsored and other service training, and attain the highest achievable certification.
Maintain professional relationships with customers, dealership personnel, and vendor representatives.
Maintain tools and equipment and follow proper safety procedures.
