About The Position

Fraserway RV is seeking a technician, mechanic, or skilled tradesperson to join their Abbotsford Service team. In this role, you will work on a variety of RVs and systems, applying your existing technical skills while developing new ones through training and hands-on experience. Previous RV experience is not required, but experience in automotive, electrical, plumbing, marine, trailers, or another skilled trade is valuable.

Requirements

• Experience as a technician, mechanic, or skilled tradesperson
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or other technical systems
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• The ability to work independently and contribute to a team
• A valid driver’s licence
• A willingness to learn and develop new technical skills

Nice To Haves

• Red Seal certification
• Technical or trades training

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of RV systems
• Troubleshoot and repair 12V and 120V electrical systems
• Diagnose and repair plumbing and propane systems
• Service appliances, furnaces, water heaters, and refrigerators
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and general RV repairs
• Identify problems and determine appropriate repair solutions
• Complete work orders and document repairs accurately
• Work closely with Service Advisors and other technicians
• Explain technical information and completed repairs to customers when required
