RV Service Technician
About The Position
Bay Area Airstream Adventures, a proud member of Lithia & Driveway (NYSE: LAD), is seeking an RV Service Technician. Our mission is to inspire and enable exploration, rekindle old adventures, and forge new friendships through our premium Airstream travel trailers. As an RV Technician, you will be responsible for all repair phases of luxurious travel trailers and touring coaches. Collaborating as a team, you will problem-solve and diagnose issues and repair failed components. You will also perform pre-delivery inspections. Always looking to improve your skills and earning power, you will regularly participate in continuing education such as vendor training and our own 5-Rivet program. All of your work will exceed industry standards and Guest expectations. Requirements
- RV Technician experience, preferred
- Extensive knowledge of all RV systems (electrical/plumbing/HVAC/structural)
- Strong problem solving skills
- Sense of urgency
- Attention to detail
- Experience in a skilled trade
- Dealership experience preferred
- RVIA/RVDA – Certified Technician, preferred
- Basic computer job skills including logging on to systems, ability to communicate by email, ability to compose documents, enter database information.
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred
- Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
Responsibilities
- Repair all phases of luxurious travel trailers and touring coaches.
- Collaborate as a team to problem-solve and diagnose issues.
- Repair failed components.
- Perform pre-delivery inspections.
- Participate in continuing education such as vendor training and our 5-Rivet program.
- Ensure all work exceeds industry standards and Guest expectations.
