About The Position

The RV Resort Clerk is responsible for providing excellent customer service while managing guest registrations, collecting fees, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and operation of the RV Resort. Key duties include checking guests in and out, filling propane tanks according to established procedures, operating the Micros POS system and cash register, handling cash and payment transactions, balancing cash drawers, and maintaining accurate records. The clerk is expected to build strong guest relationships through friendly and professional interactions, including learning guest names and preferences, greeting guests warmly, and providing information about resort services, amenities, nearby attractions, promotions, and special events. Additional responsibilities include reading electrical meters, stocking merchandise and guest supplies, maintaining inventory, adhering to safety guidelines, and performing other assigned duties. The position requires a strong team-oriented attitude, flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours, and a commitment to Laguna Development Corporation’s core values, policies, and professional standards. The role also includes extensive custodial and maintenance responsibilities, such as cleaning sales areas, restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, break rooms, windows, and parking lots, laundering linens, and removing trash.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old.
  • Proficiency with basic computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proficiency with office equipment.
  • Proficiency with the Micros POS system.
  • Ability to use propane-filling equipment.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Ability to complete 40 hours of propane training to obtain certification.
  • Strong team-oriented attitude.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours.

  • Frequent standing, walking, hearing, talking, kneeling, and repetitive hand use.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to push or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to regularly solve problems, make decisions, read, write, interpret data, organize tasks, and mathematically calculate propane levels.
