About The Position

Leidos is seeking a Russian Instructor to join the Offutt Language Learning Center in Bellevue, NE. This role involves teaching adult professional students and developing or modifying language training materials. The instructor will provide global language, cryptologic, language, and cultural training to military forces and civilian personnel through various methods including traditional classroom instruction, written materials, technology-based instruction, and distributed learning services. The position also requires developing and integrating new global and cryptologic training materials, curriculum, and courseware for US Government approval, and adapting instructional methods to meet student language proficiency goals, learning styles, and time constraints. Requirements

Interagency Language Round Table (ILRT) level 3 or higher in Russian and an advanced working proficiency in English (ILRT level 2+, based on DLPT 4)
Bachelor’s degree in Russian language, applied linguistics, or language teaching preferred.
4+ years of related experience (8+ years without a degree). Alternatively, an associate degree plus 6+ years of related experience is acceptable.
1 or more years’ experience providing language or relation instruction.
Expert knowledge of Russian to include speaking, grammar, phonology, linguistic functions, etc.
Instructional Systems Design experience preferred
Requires US citizenship
