About The Position

Provide exceptional service while delivering and serving food quickly and accurately from kitchen to guest tables. Perform front-of-house duties that increase the efficiency and productivity of the front-of-house team for a restaurant, bar, and entertainment destination. Requirements

  • Experience in restaurant operations
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated team player and self-starter
  • Standard food preparation/presentation knowledge
  • Skilled in guest relations
  • State Alcohol Education Card required upon hire

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests at table and interact in a natural, friendly manner, cultivating regular and repeat business.
  • Check food orders before serving to ensure they are correct and properly presented and that special requests have been met.
  • Deliver food and beverages to table, pre-bus as necessary.
  • Memorize menus and daily specials to announce food with clear descriptions to guests.
  • Anticipate and respond to guest needs. Respond to guest concerns/complaints regarding food or service and correct errors or resolve complaints with a friendly, positive attitude.
  • Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area throughout shift.
  • Adhere to quality expectations and standards, including clean and professional uniforms and personal appearance.
  • Attend pre-shift meetings before each shift. Perform defined opening/running/closing duties.
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance, alcohol awareness training and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly food service environment during operation and at end of shift, following sanitation procedures required by health regulatory agencies, focusing on both public areas and back of house.
  • Report any breakage or damage to equipment or furniture immediately to management.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to leadership. Follow and support brand standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
