About The Position

Valiant is looking for a RSOI&R Work Group Leader to join our team! This role involves operating large tactical vehicles, supervising cargo loading and vehicle maintenance, performing ammunition warehousing and aerial resupply tasks, and assisting leadership in employee supervision and task assignment. The position requires adherence to various regulations and policies, and may involve other duties as directed to meet mission support requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Class A CDL license.
• Must be able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental US and foreign countries.
• Individual must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening, will be subject to random drug screening.
• Must be able to work shift work, holidays and weekends.
• Must obtain a HAZMAT CDL and Tanker endorsement within 60 days of hire, as duty requires.

Nice To Haves

• Possess CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Operates large tactical vehicles, busses, forklifts, dually trucks, gooseneck trailers, refrigerated trucks and UTVs to transport personnel, cargo, fuel and ammunition over specified routes to local or distant points according to requirements.
• Supervises/ Loads and secures cargo ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and vehicle capability.
• Supervises/Performs operator level inspections and maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Supervises/Performs various ammunition warehousing duties to include accountability, storage, delivery, and distribution of ammunition, and various Aerial Resupply tasks to include pallet building, loading, delivery, and recovery from designated airfields and/or drop zones and parachute recovery.
• Assists Shift Leader and Division Lead in direct Supervision of employees, assigns tasks and ensure compliance with Federal, State, Ft. Polk, Valiant Regulations and policies.
• Performs other duties in accordance with Mission Support Requirements as directed.
• Othe duties as assigned.
