Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years’ management experience.
  • Expert-level Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of Total Quality Management.
  • Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience meeting customer requirements and managing processes.
  • Bachelor's degree or four (4) years of management experience.
  • Previous leadership experience as a Warehouse Manager or Rail Loading Supervisor.
  • Experience managing employees in a fast-paced logistics, warehouse, transportation, manufacturing, or automotive environment.
  • Strong customer service mindset.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze trends and identify operational improvements.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Access
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Total Quality Management (TQM) experience preferred
  • Have natural or corrected eyesight capable of conducting inspections in varying levels of light.
  • Have normal range of hearing, or corrected hearing, to be able to respond to normal workplace sounds including approaching vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and develop a team of approximately 25 employees.
  • Coordinate daily yard operations to meet customer and production requirements.
  • Build and dispatch transportation loads.
  • Track vehicle inventory and manage production vehicle builds.
  • Inspect inbound vehicles and document any damage.
  • Process and file vehicle damage claims.
  • Assist with rail loading operations as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and quality standards.
  • Monitor documentation accuracy and operational processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce damage.
  • Participate in customer meetings and conference calls.
  • Handle employee performance, attendance, coaching, and daily personnel issues.
  • Serve as the Yard Manager during absences.
