Provide technical and system engineering support for the construction and acceptance of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) Multi-Mission Surface Combatant (MMSC) ship. This support is specifically focused on Combat System Engineering throughout the ship's lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need of employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance level Secret
  • In alignment with Engineering Efforts, Modernization Support, and maintain Secured Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) access to use Navy owned SIPR equipment on Navy facilities.

  • Thorough knowledge of System Engineering and Life Cycle Engineering processes as they apply to Naval Surface Warfare Systems, with a particular emphasis on Combat Systems.
  • Lead, coordinate, and develop solutions to complex combat system problems.
  • Statistically verify combat system performance in support of the Acquisition and Platform Certification process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support and oversight for the MMSC combat systems baseline.
  • Support the development and review of system requirements documentation, including but not limited to, Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), contractual specifications, and system/subsystem design documents.
  • Responsible for coordinating technical teams, forming and chairing working groups to collect, prepare, and adjudicate comments against the baseline specifications to verify that design requirements are met.
  • Develop and formulate solutions to combat system problems.
  • Review system design, maintainability, and operational suitability to assess required design changes and statistically verify combat system performance in support of the certification process.
  • Perform complex technical project assignments and program management roles to support the successful integration, test, and maintenance of combat system baselines and capability packages. This includes participation in program and design reviews, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) meetings, land-based testing events, installation-integration planning, schedule development, and risk reduction efforts.
