About The Position
Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day-shift role. The position performs patient assessments and general respiratory care procedures and protocols, as well as critical care procedures in adult care areas. Duties also include blood gas analysis, maintaining and managing equipment, and patient education. No prior work experience is required. A sign-on bonus is available.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and a Georgia license through the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners, required upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, required upon hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 60 days.
- No prior work experience required.
Responsibilities
