About The Position
Tryfacta is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract assignment at a client facility in Benson, AZ. Tryfacta is a leading national Workforce Management Solution provider specializing in various sectors including Healthcare. The facility is a Level IV facility with 22 inpatient beds and 9 ED beds. The RRT will be responsible for the Med Unit, ED, and outpatient services, with one RRT scheduled per shift.
Requirements
- Active Arizona State RRT License
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Administer oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, and aerosolized medications.
- Set up, operate, and monitor mechanical ventilators, including LTV-1200 ventilators.
- Set up and manage BiPAP therapy using VISION BiPAP machines.
- Administer nebulizer treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patients' respiratory status and response to treatment.
- Perform emergency respiratory interventions, including airway management and resuscitation support.
- Respond to respiratory emergencies in the Med Unit, Emergency Department (ED), and outpatient areas.
- Assist with intubation and extubation procedures when required.
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and interpretation, if required by the facility.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement respiratory care plans.
