About The Position

The Rapid Response Team (RRT) Anthem Analyst handles communications, adjustments, and claim closeout through applications used with outside vendors Blue Cross Blue Shield and Anthem. The role reviews reports, processes and sends adjustment requests, assists internal departments, and works to ensure claims are closed within designated turnaround times. This is a remote position. Employees must have cable broadband or fiber internet service with speeds of at least 100 Mbps download and 25 Mbps upload.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 3 years of medical claims processing experience.
Adjustment experience.
Proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience with or ability to learn Microsoft Access.
Effective oral and email communication skills.
Cable broadband or fiber internet service with at least 100 Mbps download and 25 Mbps upload speeds.

Nice To Haves

Experience with the QicLink claims processing system.
Jointly Administered Arrangements (JAA) experience; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Review daily production and adjustment reports from Anthem to ensure claims and adjustments are closed within the designated turnaround time.
Process adjustment claims for Anthem and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Send adjustment requests to Anthem and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Assist other internal departments with questions related to Anthem and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Review exception reports sent by Anthem.
Close out claims in various Blue Cross Blue Shield applications.
Work monthly incentive reports to ensure claims are closed.
Review outbound reports daily for Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Perform other duties as assigned.
