About The Position

NTT DATA is currently seeking an RPG Developer with experience in the Healthcare Domain for a HYBRID role. This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining software on the IBMi platform using RPG and SQL. The role requires assessing business requirements, translating them into effective designs, and producing high-quality, standard-compliant code. Collaboration with other developers is essential for coordinating changes and sharing knowledge to ensure effective platform support. The developer will also comply with development standards, manage deadlines through collaboration with technical and business teams, and escalate platform events that require further attention.

Requirements

• 8+ years in writing ILE RPG and RPG Sequel programs and services.
• At least 2 years of development experience in Financial applications.
• 8+ years of experience in writing applications that use the DB2 400 relational database.
• 8+ years of experience in RPG programming.
• 8+ years strong hands-on experience with DB2/400 and SQL for iSeries.
• Solid experience in application development and maintenance on IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform.
• Proficient in RPG/400, RPGLE, and Free-format RPG programming.
• Strong knowledge of DB2 for i, SQL, and database design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software built on the IBMi platform using RPG and SQL languages and procedures.
