About The Position

OCT Consulting is a business management and technology consulting firm that supports Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology. OCT currently has an opening for an RPA Engineer to work with our federal client. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) is required or 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or a minimum of one (1) year of experience with a Master’s Degree.
  • Four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Relevant experience includes software development, application scripting, and hands-on bot development.
  • One (1) year of experience with the following agencies: USCG, DHS, or DoD is a plus.
  • UiPath Certified RPA Associate or other RPA relevant technical certification.
  • UiPath Certified RPA Associate (UiRPA) certification, or an equivalent current UiPath certification (such as UiPath Automation Developer or UiPath RPA Developer Foundation), is required.
  • Comparable certifications or demonstrable equivalent experience in robotic process automation may be considered as alternatives
  • Must be able to undergo and successfully complete a Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD)-12 qualifying Tier 2 background investigation for Common Access Card (CAC) issuance.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of experience with the following agencies: USCG, DHS, or DoD is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on the technical construction and maintenance of software bots.
  • Build and unit-test automations based on design specifications.
  • Debug and resolve defects in RPA solutions.
  • Deploy RPA components in collaboration with program management and IT support teams.
