About The Position

OCT Consulting is seeking an RPA Engineer to support a federal client. This role focuses on the technical construction and maintenance of software bots, building and unit-testing automations, debugging and resolving defects, and deploying RPA components. The position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) is required or 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted.
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or a minimum of one (1) year of experience with a Master’s Degree.
• Four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Relevant experience includes software development, application scripting, and hands-on bot development.
• Must be able to undergo and successfully complete a Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD)-12 qualifying Tier 2 background investigation for Common Access Card (CAC) issuance.
• UiPath Certified RPA Associate or other RPA relevant technical certification. ath Certified RPA Associate (UiRPA) certification, or an equivalent current UiPath certification (such as UiPath Automation Developer or UiPath RPA Developer Foundation), is required.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of experience with the following agencies: USCG, DHS, or DoD is a plus.
• Comparable certifications or demonstrable equivalent experience in robotic process automation may be considered as alternatives

Responsibilities

• Focus on the technical construction and maintenance of software bots.
• Build and unit-test automations based on design specifications.
• Debug and resolve defects in RPA solutions.
• Deploy RPA components in collaboration with program management and IT support teams.
