This role provides support to multiple properties and assists with special projects, requiring extensive travel to assigned properties as scheduled or as needed. The Roving Property Manager operates properties in accordance with Company policies and procedures, and the management plan for each property. This position oversees all resources of the property to achieve established budgeted financial and operational goals, including financials, budgets, and collections. The role also manages the day-to-day operations of assigned properties or projects, including resident relations, site staff supervision, and daily activities. Building and maintaining positive relationships with team members, residents, the community, and city agencies is essential. The Roving Property Manager is responsible for hiring, leading, directing, evaluating, and managing subordinate team members, including maintenance specialists. Key duties include overseeing leasing processes, resident relations, and occupancy compliance, as well as timely processing of all project reporting. This role involves meeting and corresponding with local, state, and federal representatives, residents, and vendors, and conducting routine property inspections to ensure compliance with housing regulations and company standards. The position requires utilizing proven skills and knowledge to adapt to the challenges of supporting different communities and is responsible for all community operations and team member management.
