About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring a Roving Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for its National Branch Network. The role provides support across multiple branch locations within an assigned geography, building customer relationships and supporting everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The banker learns about customers’ goals and connects them with appropriate banking products, services, and digital tools. The position supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications, and includes cash handling and teller-line activities. The employee works with teammates at different branches to provide consistent, accurate, compliant service, using sound judgment and following bank standards and risk controls. The position involves travel throughout the assigned geography, commuting to assigned branches for the duration of each assignment, and working a schedule that includes Saturdays. SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the start date. The role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to travel 100% of the time within the assigned geography.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date.
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and comply with Wells Fargo policies, including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.

Responsibilities

Provide personalized banking support across multiple branch locations, covering banker and teller absences and temporarily filling open positions as needed.
Adapt to different branch environments, teams, and customer needs while maintaining consistent service quality and adherence to bank standards.
Build customer relationships through proactive, meaningful conversations that support financial well-being and engagement.
Conduct discovery-driven conversations to understand customer needs and connect them with relevant banking products, services, and solutions.
Identify opportunities, promote solutions, and make appropriate referrals to meet customer and business goals.
Support everyday banking needs, including account openings, service requests, and credit applications.
Perform cash handling and teller-line activities, accurately processing transactions while maintaining compliance and operational standards.
Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer experience and support evolving banking needs.
Deliver accurate, compliant service and exercise sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Coordinate with branch teammates to provide seamless handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists.
Travel within the assigned geography, commute to assigned branch locations for the duration of assignments, and work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
Flex between cash handling and customer banking activities to support branch operations, with an emphasis on account openings and ongoing account support.
