About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring a Roving Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for its National Branch Network. The role provides banking support across multiple branch locations in an assigned geography, covering banker and teller absences and temporarily filling open positions. The banker builds customer relationships through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach, learns about customers’ goals, and connects them with relevant banking products, services, and digital tools. The position supports account openings, service requests, credit applications, cash handling, and teller-line transactions while maintaining compliance and operational standards. The banker adapts to different branch environments, collaborates with branch teammates and specialists, and delivers accurate, consistent service using sound judgment and defined risk controls. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching, and describes the role as a foundation for long-term career growth and mobility. The role requires travel within the assigned geography, commuting to assigned branches for the duration of each assignment, and a schedule that includes Saturdays. SAFE registration is required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the registration process after the start date. The role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of customer-interaction experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to travel 100% of the time within the assigned geography.
Ability to commute to assigned branch locations for the duration of each assignment.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the start date.
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and comply with Wells Fargo policies, including financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal-background standards. A credit report may be reviewed, and additional ongoing screening may apply.
Ability to flex between cash handling and customer banking activities, with emphasis on account openings and ongoing account support.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated customer-facing role, demonstrating comfort with structured processes, accuracy, and service expectations.
Experience building trust-based customer relationships through active listening, follow-up, and consistent engagement.
Comfort initiating outreach by calls, emails, or other channels to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities to support customer needs.
Comfort with digital tools and technology, ability to learn new systems quickly, and ability to guide customers in adopting useful capabilities.

Perform cash handling and teller-line activities, accurately processing transactions while maintaining compliance and operational standards.
Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer experience and support evolving banking needs.
Deliver accurate, compliant service and exercise sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Collaborate with branch teammates to coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists.
Travel within the assigned geography and commute to assigned branch locations for the duration of assignments.
Work a schedule that includes Saturdays and flex between cash handling and customer banking activities.
