About The Position

The Routing Administrator position is located in Arlington, Texas, and is an onsite, in-office role within Williams-Sonoma’s Supply Chain Organization. The role supports daily route preparation and completion by managing routing information, responding to customer-specific circumstances, and coordinating communications among distribution hubs and routing teams. The position is responsible for achieving efficiency and production objectives consistent with quality requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of administrative experience or experience in a related field.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Projects.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships at multiple levels and work organizationally toward solutions.
• Leadership and consensus-building skills.
• Ability to sit or stand and utilize a computer for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Descartes or another routing system.

Responsibilities

• Enter manual inputs into the Descartes Route Planner, including updating customer addresses and inputting corrected service times.
• Evaluate and respond to customer special circumstances, including escalating orders for same-day routes or unplanned zone deliveries.
• Update specific delivery instructions.
• Complete routing preparation to support effective daily route completion.
• Act as a communication liaison between Hubs, Schedulers, Routing Analysts, and Routers.
• Achieve efficiency and production objectives consistent with quality requirements.
