About The Position
R+L Carriers has an immediate need for an Outbound Router Supervisor at our Kearny, NJ Service Center. This is a full-time position with a yearly rate of $75,000/year, Monday - Friday, with various shifts available. PTO is available after the first 90 calendar days of employment.
Requirements
- Proven basic leadership experience
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Organizational / Communication/ and Logistical skills with solid problem-solving abilities
- Computer skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of the City, and surrounding areas
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of quality freight handling
- Prior LTL leadership experience
Responsibilities
- Driver and Freight Handler Management
- Coordinate Dock Operation and Driver/Freight Handler scheduling
- Ensure Safety Compliance
- Ensure quality freight handling procedures are followed
- Timely dispatching of LTL Loads
- Other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager
